What is r dceu?

The R DCEU, or Rated DC Extended Universe, is an upcoming line of DC Comics movies that will feature edgier, darker and more mature content than the traditional PG-13 rating. This new line of films will feature popular DC characters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the Joker but with a more adult-oriented approach. The R DCEU will not have any crossovers or share continuity with the main DC Extended Universe. Instead, the R DCEU will serve as a separate platform for DC Comics adaptations aimed at older viewers. The first film in the R DCEU line is "The Suicide Squad," which received an R rating due to violence, language, and sexual content.
